Related Posts Feature

We have added a new feature on our Green-Trust.org website. It adds related posts to the bottom of each post, leading you to other posts on similar topics. This is a great way to keep people's interest and generate more traffic. The plugin we use on our wordpress site is YARRP (Yet Another Related Posts Plugin), and an example can be seen at the bottom of our posted material (below the Share / Save button) at http://www.green-trust.org/wordpress/2009/12/24/cleaning-up-environmental-damage-with-mushrooms/.

Paypal, not just for paypal users

Using Paypal for processing allows you to accept payment from anyone with a credit card, not just folks with Paypal accounts. They do not need to sign up for a Paypal account to pay you for your product. We have been using Paypal for almost 10 years, with no problems. You can get a debit card to pay for your items, and transfer money between a bank account and your Paypal account.

The best way to keep people up to date on your news, products, and promotions is with a mailing list. AWEBER runs one of the best systems for email campaigns, mailing lists, follow up, and tracking results. Bouncing email, subscribe/unsubscribe, web forms for you to integrate into your website, it's all there, and easy to use.

We came across a great method to use Adsense to bring in a supplementary income, or maybe even a primary one. I take advertising claims with a grain of salt, so $20k or more a month stretches my belief a bit, but I have proven $500 a month is doable.



Even if you don't use that program, just adding Adsense code to your website like at left will bring is some money every time someone clicks an ad.
